Lakers/Clippers starting line-ups/ rotation
Lakers Starting Rotation:
Point Guard: Derek Fisher, Steve Blake, Darius Morris
Shooting Guard: Kobe Bryant, Andrew Goudelock
Small Forwards: Matt Barnes, Metta World Peace, Luke Walton, Jason Kapono, and Devin Ebanks
Power Forward: Pau Gasol, Josh Mcroberts, Derrick Caracter (injured), and Troy Murphy
Center: Andrew Bynum
The Lakers have a lot of depth and versatility in the small foward position but the Lakers have some gaps for the center position because Andrew Bynum is suspended for the first 4 games of the season. It is up to Mike Brown to decide who will fill in for Bynum. In my opinion, the Lakers might have Josh Mcroberts as the starter while Troy Murphy can be the back up for Pau temporarily. It is too soon to put faith in our bench but we need to experiment with our team sooner or later to discover our team chemistry.
Clippers Starting Rotation:
Point Guard: Chris Paul, Mo Williams, Eric Bledsoe
Shooting Guard: Chauncey Billups, Randy Foye
Small Forward: Caron Butler, Travis Leslie
Power Forward: Blake Griffin, Ryan Gomes, Brian Cook, and Trey Thompkins
Center: Deandre Jordan
This Clipper team is stacked this year. The point guard rotation will not disappoint because Williams is as great as a passer as CP3 and can shoot well beyond the arc. Bledsoe is also a very good back-up in case anyone gets injured as he had his break out season last year.
